Lets talk foam rolling and trigger point therapy.

What is it, why is it important, and what areas should I be using it on?

☑️ Foam rollers are a lightweight, cylindrical tube of compressed foam that comes in different sizes of firmness.(the ball can be used for deep knots and hard to reach places)

☑️ It may be used for many reasons, including increasing flexibility, reducing soreness, relaxation, reducing injury, and eliminating muscle knots, used for 30 to 90 seconds on each muscle and combined with static stretching.

☑️ For runners the best places to use it are; feet, calves, IT Band, Piriformis, hamstrings, adductors, and quadriceps.

☑️ Here's a great link for short videos on each area.
